On 19 November 2025 (09:30–12:00 CET), three Horizon Europe-funded projects — GAPs, FAiR, and MORE — will convene a high-level policy dialogue at the European Parliament to reflect on the EU’s return and readmission policies.
The event will provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives on current challenges and explore policy-relevant research findings on viable and humane alternatives to existing return frameworks.
Gathering policymakers from EU institutions and Member States alongside civil society representatives and researchers, the dialogue aims to foster an informed and constructive discussion on the future direction of EU return policy.
Members of the European Parliament and officials from the European Commission will contribute to the debate, ensuring a strong connection between ongoing research and policy development.
